So, we are not going to play dress-up. But make-up! (and you scream/yell/whatever you do: Hell yeah!)
You should check out Skye Sweetnam, she’s a singer (and since a few months, I think, a director too) and she’s awesome
And she has a lot of make-up vids on Youtube, they’re actually really cool.

So, that’s part 1 of her Superhero make-up trilogy. There are still two other parts, which you should check out, of course.
