oh, all the things we do in name of love

A Chinese woman changed her fingerprints, so she could emigrate to Japan. She switched the skin of her thumbs and pointing fingers.

The police was able to trace her, because of the scars on her fingers. She was arrested due to a fake marriage with a Japanese.

Last year, the 27-year-old succeeded in entering Japan with her new fingerprints. In 2007, she was deported and sent back to China for breaking the visa rules.

The Chinese paid – converted – about 10.000 euro for the operation. The Japanese autorities think that Chinese criminals are behind such practices.

I tried to translate it at my best, but that doesn’t mean it’s perfect. English isn’t my first language, so sorry if I made a mistake somewhere.

ALABAMA TV STATION LEARNS TWITTER, BILLBOARDS DON’T MIX
A trio of of television anchors in Mobile, Ala. have learned the hard way that Twitter and electronic billboards don’t mix very well.
A reader e-mailed me the unintentionally humorous photo above of a billboard for WPMI-TV.
Next to the image of three WPMI anchors is a “right now on Twitter” screen. Giving drivers updates on Twitter in real time as they pass by the billboard is pretty cool, right? Well, it is, unless the update says “3 Accused of Gang Rape in Monroeville.”

What’s up dear blog followers!

Sorry I haven’t posted for the past 4(?) days, I was very busy with school and tests. I had a lot to catch up to because of that stupid Mexican flu. Sorry again!

I wanted to post something good and funny and interesting, but I couldn’t find interesting news…
Oh wait, when I was watching the morning news/journal (how do you say it?), it was all about our queen’s visit to Mexico. I believe she stayed/stays in the Four Seasons Hotel, and they showed people who were waiting for her with flags and stuff, BUT then I saw this group of youngsters with big posters, and they were screaming and shouting and God knows what more they did. Guess who they were waiting for… Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner! It was quite hilarious to see xD

There was also a lot of New Moon stuff going on, press conferences and junkets (can anyone tell me what that is?) and new interviews. So I had to sort that out, too. Actually, I’m still not done! Oh well… And I didn’t watch the EMAs, so I still need to watch that too. I do know that Beyonce got three awards and Green Day one, and others… Oh yes, Gaga of course! I heard all of this on the news, only thing on tv I have time for xD

Manamana!

[EDIT: I've put on the YouTube-version, because WordPress or Google is being a bitch. So here you go, a German version!]

A PLASTIC surgeon has told how he chose a dowdy girl as his bride – so he could sculpt her into his ideal wife.
Reza Vossough hated 33-year-old Cany’s body, but they tied the knot anyway after he spotted her “potential”.
He performed EIGHT operations to change her chest, thighs, eyes and face.

Why would you marry someone (you don’t even love) and then turn it into ‘something’ with cup F? Might as well get yourself a supermodel or something. And I don’t get the whole fall-in-love-after-plastic-surgery-thing, really doesn’t make sense.

Yu Zhenhuan, 32, from the northern Chinese province of Liaoning, has hair on 96 per cent of his body because of a hormone imbalance.
From the age of seven he was cast in movies, such as Little Hairy Boy’s Treasure Adventure, and he also had a brief singing career.
However, a recent attempt to win the lead role of The Monkey King in a television adaptation of Journey to the West, the Chinese classic, ended in acrimony when the director said he was not sufficiently attractive.
